Bathroom horror
Remember the new ceramic tile flooring I got in my bathrooms a few months ago? Well now the tiles are starting to buckle and loosen in 2 of the 3 bathrooms (the bathrooms with the shower/tubs). I'm mad as hell.
Sometimes I wonder why I even spend money to fix or renovate things when invariably it comes back to bite me in the butt later (first paint, now this...sigh). Now I have to call Mr. Hawk to come fix what he apparently didn't do so well the first time. Or should I call someone else to fix this mess. Decisions. Decisions.

I still haven't called him yet. I've been busy and when I think about him I don't have his number available. I will be calling him tomorrow though. I want to at least have made contact before this month is over.

Hey, girl...just catching up with your blog...have some horror stories about my condo Board of Directors, not the least of which is that I was appointed to serve on it.
ANYWAY...if you haven't already called the fool who did the work, I actually WOULDN'T call him. I just had this nightmare in my kitchen and had to pay someone else to lay down the right concrete board, etc., etc. I know WAY too much about ceramic tile and proper installation now. If this fool didn't lay down the proper sub-flooring, doing superficial fixes will only keep the tiles down for a little while before they start lifting again.
Try to find out EVERYTHING he did and then you can better asses and have SOMEONE else fix it.
